Vary Rare vagrant species in East Europe. The first record in Ukraine.
Black-throated Accentor is a new species in the fauna of Ukraine. It is a rare vagrant species in Europe, most observed during the autumn migration. This year, three observations on Europe in general, in particular, the first record for the country also in Poland.
Long-billed Dowitcher (Limnodromus scolopaceus) is a new species in the avifauna of Ukraine. Yuriy Kodrul and Mykola Zmievsky saw the bird in the Shpyndiyar pod ("pod" - gently sloping closed drainless lowering of the relief) in the Kherson region. This North American sandpiper lasted in the place of observation until May 12. O. Sapuga, O. Komarovsky and V. Rudenko also managed to see it. Congrats!
The first observation for Ukraine and yhe 17-th for Western Palearctic. The Bird was photographed by Maria-Adel Bradbeer over the city of Dnipro.
