Black-eared Wheatear (Oenanthe hispanica)

It is a rare flying sight in Ukraine. There is evidence of nesting of the species in the south of the Crimean peninsula.

Gray lark is a species of uncertain status. There is no reliable breeding data for the last 35 years. Single reliable meetings available during migration and wintering. This is probably the first photograph of this species in Ukraine.

A rare flying bird for the fauna of Ukraine. The second reliable meeting for the Odessa region and the Northwest Black Sea region. The bird was discovered by Polish animation photographers Józef Szołtun, Krzysztof Merski (aka Josef Sas), Paweł Makarewicz and Witold Lisicki in the lower lane of Tyligul estuary.
